Umbro Industries is a new initiative from Umbro geared towards giving potential Manchester based creators the financial backing they need. You know how it is: you've a great idea for an exhibition, a gig, a club night or project, you've got the contacts and you need to make it happen, you just need a little helping hand. That's where Umbro Industries comes in. If your idea is fresh, and your drive and devotion to create is infectious, then we'll get behind you.

After a slight delay, we can announce the four finalists for the Winter Umbro Industries. These four will now submit their ideas to the Industries panel this Sunday, February 21st, with the winners receiving all or part of the £10,000 bursary to spend on their ideas.

The finalists are: Upper Space Gallery - The Second Coming, Papergirl Manchester, DiscRebel Ltd and Crying In The Chapel. Congratulations to them all!

Unfortunately, if you're not one of the ideas mentioned, your submission hasn't been successful this time, but don't worry - entry for the Spring Umbro Industries is open right now, so you can take another look at your idea and submit it again for the next round. Entries for the Spring Umbro Industries close on April 7th.
