Zombie-Aid
Charity fund raising Zombie walk and music festival. Raising cash for Cancer and childrens charities.

Zombie-Aid was founded in 2009 in Manchester. Initialy starting of as a few people dressing as Zombies for a Zombie walk, it soon morphed into one of the cities biggest events, with over 3,000 'zombies' at the first event. This year sees Zombie-Aid at 7 UK cities. Once again Manchester is to be the flagship event, with live music stage, Zombie themed fairground, zombie walk other activities, all to raise awareness and money for local charities.
The third event is to be held at Sportcity with support from Manchester City FC.
Media interest in this event in the past has been huge. Covered by most local media and event hitting the headlines as far as Australia!
The funding Zombie-Aid gets will pay for the stage and PA. No money will go to individuals!
Zombie aid is brilliant, I have attended both of the Manchester events and it was so much fun and raising money for good causes is definatley a good reason to do it again!! Love zombie aid!!

I thought Zombie-AId was going to be for Emo kids and goths... i went to both last year and was so surprised by the variety of people! Young, old, dead alive... lol

This event encapsulates every age, background, race..... who would have thought that a ZOMBIE march would have brought so much fun and love to the city!!! The council should fund this! Its one of the biggest events in the City!

I missed the last Manchester Zombie Aid but i'm definately going this year! Dressing up as a zombie and roaming Manchester sounds ace and more importantly we can all contribute to help raise money for charity. Very excited to see Uncle Rotter there too.

This is genuinely a fantastic idea & has enough follwers to create great opportunities & raise big money for deserving causes! i'd be happy to be a part of it! 'When there's no more room in hell..the dead will walk the earth' I really hope so! :D

Went to the birmingham one last year. It was so much fun! I loved it. This year if there was bands and a fun fair, it would be so cool! Can't wait :)

Absolutly amazing event, it was my first time last year and it was just awsome, I can just imagine what funding could do for this and to gain the world record this year would be great for the sponsors and the Event - Bring on the undead :)

after attending zombie aid 1, and getting married at zombie aid 2, i wholeheartedly put my backing into zombie aid 3 gaining funding, its a wonderful idea, a whole ton of fun and raises money for charity, whats not to like?? :D

I have been to Zombie Aid 1 and 2 in Manchester and I am looking forward to Zombie Aid 3 in the summer, I always have a fantastic time when I come to the events! it is a fun day out and even the whole family can join in! :D

As a representative of one of the charities who will benefit from this event - as well as a previous participant I fully support this request. Zombie Aid is a unique, fun and positive event and should be spread across the world not just this country.

I was over the moon when I found out that Zombie Aid was spreading to the rest of the country. Manchester was an unbelieveable amount of fun and can not wait until the next one!

i attended the last two manchester Zombie aid walks, it's a fantastic day out for all the family and it brought people together, there was really great atmosphere where everybody joined in the fun as one community! super fun day!

Zombie aid is awesome! I went to the one in Birmingham last year and it was so much fun! Even the police said they were amazed to see so many young and old people together with no arguments, raising money for a good cause.
