The Ragamuffins - Single Release Idea
Rather than a hard copy release, having a gig event and using bluetooth to release your new record!

I came up with this idea at a football match, when police requested that fans in attendance with bluetooth ready mobile phones switch them on in order to obtain information regarding a murderer and a murder inquiry in an appeal to catch the culprit. Obviously, if you can send information like that in bluetooth then why not an mp3 file or files.
Hence a bluetooth gig, where everyone in attendance can receive your new single or album sent straight to their mobile phone through bluetooth. It would be a GENIUS idea for new and breakthrough bands as it would be more encouraging to fans to attend their gigs. Similarly, if bands at unsigned band nights wanted to make their music instantly available then you could have a central server at a venue that could allow fans to receive their music instantly, without the need to trawl through myspace or iTunes or similar.
Obviously, this idea runs in accordance with our desire for investment in ourselves as a band!
