We are an alternative Hip Hop band based in Manchester called Ajah UK. Our music grows and develops everyday within this city. We are all from different parts of the country as well as the world. We have worked really hard and have gigged around the UK and Europe with no management or record label. Over the 18 months or so that we have been together we realized the different skills we all come to the table with and without ego and having a common goal we worked together as a team and got our music together, the gigs, the merchandise as well as the publicity.

As well as being in a band together, individually we are all mentors and teachers around the UK to young people interested in the arts particularly music. From teaching on a Music BA course to one to one lessons.

We would like to create a Rock school teaching young people how to play in, become and have longevity as a band. Together as a team we would be able to teach young people musicality, professionalism, importance of team work, performance, self promotion and self motivation.

We are all very good teachers and have CV's to prove our track records with financial backing we would be able provide instruments, books, pens, dictionaries and equipment for young people to learn on, reducing the costs for parents. We would be able to get good quality posters and advertising. Pay the rent on a building for 6 months to get us started and on our feet.
