PYC Sessions has been running for just under a year. Our aim is to cover the best new music, arts and other creative talent from Manchester and the surrounding areas

We have numerous ideas/ambitions for PYC that we think a cash injection could help with. We have run a successful photography project since our inception which offers young amateur photographers a platform to display their work online. We would like to organise an exhibition at a location in Manchester to hopefully try and give the artists a chance to raise their profiles and their confidence, and maybe a few quid while they're at it.

We also have aspirations to put on our own events. Having championed so much music via the blog at www.pycsessions.com , we reckon we're ready to make our way into Manchester's scene. We have plans to hold a series of nights at different venues, showcasing some of the young Manchester based producers associated with PYC, as well as music from other artists we love.

We think we could really take PYC to another level, help from Umbro could enable us to reach a wider audience. We have an abundance of ideas for promotional material, including t-shirts, stickers and a viral video campaign planned, but without the cash necessary to realise them.
